Our girls have stayed and vow to complete school

Our dear readers, our girls that we you been supporting are all still in school. We have had the opportunity to meeting all the girls that have been supported with scholarstic materials including schools bags, pens, books and they have stayed in school and vow to stay and complete school. Those we found in primary school have now joined high school and vocational training for skills training. These girls have many dreams and aspirations. Some want to become Teachers, Engireers and Nurses.
All the above has been a result of your support. We thank you so much for standing with girls with disabilities.

Finalists with disabilities given success cards

We are greaful to inform our donors and friends that five of the learners with disaibilities that we have been supporting with scholarstic materials are ready for final exminations at different levels. We have two girls who will be doing thier Junior/ Primary Leaving Examinations, Two girls have already started thier High school final examinations and one will do his final examinations for advanced level.
We have moved a journey with these learners and we gave them sucess cards to wish them the best results from their final examinations. We are hopeful that they will perform well and join other levels and achieve thier dreams.
We conducted a carrrier guidance session to give them confidence, hope and prepare them for final examinations.
We are so humbled by the support from you our friends. We have moved the journey together.
We request that we continue the journey with you to enable learners with disabilities achieve their dreams

GIRLS WITH DISABILITIES JOINED THE TERM WITH JOY

Dera our readers, we are excited to report that our girls with disabilities joined Seond term with alot of joy. You supported us with funds worth USD 151.59. We purchased scholastic materials including school uniforms, shoes, books and pens. The handover was conducted on 16th May 2024 at Mpigi Disability Resource Centre. A total number of five girls with disabilities benefited. Three girls have physical disabilities and among them one is in Senior two, the second one in primary seven and another in Primary Six. The fourth has epilepsy and she is in Senior Two and the Fifth has hearing impairment and she is in Primary Seven. A girl with mental disability was provided with a pair of shoes, one dozen of black books and six pens, a girl with hearing impairment was provided with the school uniform, a pair of shoes, a dozen of black books and six pens, those with physical disabilities one benefited with a dozen of black books, one dozen of pencils and six pens, the second received a dozen of black books and six pens, the last girl got a dozen of black books and six pens.
All the girls were accompanied by thier caretakers and were very excited and greatful for the support you extend to them through MPWDA. We believe that the items recived will enable them confortable at school, write all the work given and stay in school and complete thier eduation.
As MPWDA we are humbled by your support. We request for continuity of such a spirit to enable girls with disabilities stay in school,
