Educate 150 Girls with Disabilities Mpigi Uganda

Our dear friends, with the suppport you have rendered to MPWDA, our learners with disabilities are progressing well. We do monitor them. One deaf girl had dropped out of school while in Primary Six. We visited her caretaker who supported us trace where she had been taken. We gave her books, pens, pencils, sanitary towels and a ruler. She is back at school and will sit for ther Primary Leaving Examinations next yea.

We are very greatful for your support. It has kept learners with disaibilties at school. If such learners remain in the community, the can face chllanges such as teenage pregnancies and cild marriage.

Dear our friends, we are greatufl for the support you render to MPWDA. Our  beneficiaries who joined high school are progressing well. They joined second term and are all at school. 

We had got one challenge of a deaf girl who we have been supporting from primary five to primary seven. Sge had dropped out of school. She had been taken by her mother to work as a maid at her friends home. We traced her and she is back to school. We gave her the scholarstic materials she needed and she is at school.

Our learners like staying at school becasue government provides free education but the challenge remains scholarsitc materials like books, pens, bags, sanitary pads for girls among others. The school bags we give them get old and some parents and care takers do not take it as a point to but for them new ones though some cannot even afford.

We still need funding to continue supporting learners with disabilities.
