Dear Donor,
We would like to share with you a story that sheds light on the impact of your generous donations on the lives of displaced Syrian families. Here is the story of Haytham, a child in northern Syria, who dreams big amidst harsh conditions. Haytham, an active and ambitious young boy who loves life and enjoys riding his bicycle, lost his mother last year in the devastating earthquake that struck Syria and Turkey. Since then, he has been living with his father and four siblings in an informal camp in the village of Kafr, where his grandmother takes care of him and his siblings while his father works intermittently in a construction workshop.
Thanks to your ongoing support, we have been able to provide bread for Haytham’s family, a basic resource that helps ease their daily struggles and provide the children with what they need to grow and stay healthy. The importance of this support is greater today than ever; the continued conflict in Gaza and escalating situation in Lebanon have worsened the displacement conditions in northern Syria. With many NGOs and international organizations now focusing on Gaza and Lebanon, aid reaching the camps in northern Syria has decreased significantly, while the harsh winter season is fast approaching.
We need your continued support to ensure that aid reaches as many displaced families as possible who are living in old, worn-out tents in the camps of northern Syria. Your donations lighten their daily burdens and bring hope for a better future.
Thank you sincerely for your trust and generosity.
