Dear Donor,
In the Talleen shelter, northern Syria, child Salem and his sister Hayam live with their parents and elderly grandmother under extremely difficult conditions. After losing their home due to the ongoing conflict, a makeshift shelter under construction was provided as accommodation, replacing the tent they had been living in. Despite the overwhelming challenges, Salem and his sister Hayam are trying to adapt to this temporary situation, waiting for a better future.
Salem, who is only ten years old, carries the responsibility of helping his family face these harsh circumstances, while Hayam, who has not yet turned six, is trying to adjust to life in this shelter that lacks many of their basic needs. Their parents and grandmother are also suffering from deteriorating health, especially the grandmother, who requires constant care.
Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide bread and food for this family, who had been struggling to meet their daily needs. This assistance was not just about providing food; it was a step towards alleviating their suffering and giving them hope for the future. Knowing they are not alone in this world has had a profound impact on their morale.
Your help goes beyond providing food; it gives this family a chance for a more dignified and stable life, showing them that there are people who extend a hand of support in these challenging times.
