A Loaf of Bread A Lifeline in Mohammed's Home

By MUHAMMED DEEBEH | Project leader

Dear Donor

In the heart of displacement and hardship, at the Tallalin shelter center in the countryside of Suran, northern Syria, lives the orphaned child Mohammed with his mother and little sister Fatima in a fragile, poorly built home — barely suitable for living, and containing only the bare minimum to survive.

Mohammed lost his father years ago, leaving his mother to carry the heavy burden of raising her children alone amidst unforgiving living conditions. With no breadwinner and no steady access to work, putting food on the table has become a daily struggle.

Thanks to your generosity, fresh bread reached Mohammed’s family, providing them with a basic but vital meal in the midst of long-standing deprivation. Upon receiving the bread, their mother whispered with emotion:
"All we have left is prayer — and this bread came to us through your prayers."

In a place where everything is scarce, a loaf of bread becomes a priceless blessing. Your support is more than nourishment — it brings warmth, comfort, and a sense of security to hearts worn down by loss and hardship.

Thank you for your continued kindness. Your giving hand makes a real difference in the lives of families like Mohammed’s.
