Esperamos que tú y los tuyos se encuentren muy bien.
Te contamos que, desde el inicio de este año, continuamos trabajando con la comunidad de Noruega Baja en el municipio de Silvania. La obra de construcción de la Casa de Superación Campesina está cerca de finalizar, y estamos muy emocionados por verla en funcionamiento.
Actualmente, hemos trabajado muy de cerca con una mujer que ha tomado mucho protagonismo en el proyecto: Lucero Velázquez. Lucero cumple muchos roles en su comunidad como mujer. Uno de ellos es ser madre cabeza de hogar, apoyando a sus dos hijos en sus estudios y en el camino a la independencia; otro es ser dueña de una de las tiendas principales que abastece a la población de Noruega Baja, en la que pasa la mayoría de su tiempo; y el tercero es ser la tesorera de la Junta de Acción Comunal de Noruega Baja. Esto demuestra su perseverancia, motivación y un amor profundo hacia su comunidad, su territorio y su estilo de vida.
Cuando iniciamos este proyecto, no éramos conscientes de lo importante que iba a ser el rol de Lucero en el desarrollo de la construcción. Ella ha coordinado la comunicación entre la ferretería y la fundación por meses, ha llevado las cuentas de los materiales que han llegado y hace seguimiento constante desde que inició la construcción de la mano de Gustavo. Hay días en los que ella contesta alrededor de cinco llamadas relacionadas con el proyecto, manejando toda la información a la perfección. Lucero ha demostrado ser constante cuando tantas personas cuestionan la realidad del proyecto, y también demuestra que es un ejemplo de transparencia en la manera en que maneja el presupuesto de la Junta de Acción Comunal.
Otra cualidad sorprendente de Lucero es su capacidad de aprendizaje y su recursividad. En una de nuestras visitas, nos confesó que no había acabado el bachillerato escolar; sin embargo, demuestra, en la manera en que ha manejado sus crisis, que siempre encuentra una oportunidad para crecer en los retos que se le presentan. Por ello, Lucero ha sido una base de experiencia y fuerza que estabiliza el futuro de la administración de la Casa de Superación Campesina, y a la que le reconocemos con orgullo todo su esfuerzo.
Próximamente, te estaremos contando más sobre este maravilloso proyecto y las soluciones de co creación que hemos alcanzado.

We hope you and your family are doing very well.
We would like to share with you that, since the beginning of this year, we have continued working with the community of Noruega Baja in the municipality of Silvania. The construction of the Rural Improvement Center is nearing completion, and we are very excited to see it operational.
Currently, we have been working closely with a woman who has taken a very important role in the project: Lucero Velázquez. Lucero fulfills many roles in her community. One of them is being a single mother, supporting her two children in their studies and on the path to independence; another is being the owner of one of the main stores that supplies the population of Noruega Baja, where she spends most of her time; and the third is being the treasurer of the Communal Action Board of Noruega Baja. This demonstrates her perseverance, motivation, and deep love for her community, her territory, and her way of life.
When we started this project, we weren't fully aware of how important Lucero's role would be in the construction process. She has coordinated communications between the hardware store and the foundation for months, kept track of the materials that have arrived, and has provided constant follow-up since construction began with Gustavo. There are days when she answers around five calls related to the project, handling all the information perfectly. Lucero has proven to be consistent when so many people question the project's reality, and she also demonstrates transparency in the way she manages the Community Action Board's budget.
Another surprising quality of Lucero's is her learning ability and resourcefulness. During one of our visits, she confessed to us that she hadn't finished high school; however, she demonstrates, in the way she has handled her crises, that she always finds an opportunity to grow in the challenges that arise. Therefore, Lucero has been a foundation of experience and strength that stabilizes the future of the Casa de Superación Campesina administration, and we proudly acknowledge all her efforts.
