Business Training
The first completely virtual cycle of the Semillas Business Training concluded on Saturday, August 28, 2021 with the graduation activity of all participants. We will continue to provide personalized mentorship to each of these brave entrepreneurs until they can set up their businesses.
During this year we have made an agreement with the Municipality of Vega Baja to carry out a cycle of Semillas Business Training in this municipality. We held the first orientation on Friday, April 1 with a large participation. On Saturday, April 23, we held a second orientation. We hope to be able to start the workshops during the month of July.
Capacitación Empresarial
El primer ciclo completamente virtual de la Capacitación Empresarial Semillas concluyó el sábado 28 de agosto 2021 con la actividad de graduación de todos los participantes. Continuaremos brindándoles mentoría personalizada a cada uno de estos valientes empresarios hasta que puedan establecer sus negocios.
Durante este año hemos hecho un acuerdo con el Municipio de Vega Baja para llevar a cabo un ciclo de Capacitación Empresarial Semillas en este municipio. Realizamos la primera orientación el viernes 1 de abril con una nutrida participación. El sábado 23 de abril realizamos una segunda orientación. Esperamos poder comenzar los talleres durante el mes de julio.

Achievements of Incubadora Semillas 2021

The 32 entrepreneurs who were trained in our first Virtual Cycle of Business Training, offered by the Incubadora Semillas for microenterprises, have completed their period of individual mentoring with our business consultants. Some have already started operating their microenterprises and others are about to start. To help these and other entrepreneurs, on December 8 we held the workshop "Captivate the look with your Instagram". Laura Otero Teruel of the company Contrapunto led this workshop with 26 participants. We had an afternoon of a lot of learning in the use of this tool that helps them promote their microenterprises in an agile and effective way.
As part of the development of Casa sin Fronteras, our counselor Lariana García was certified as an incubator administrator for community and solidaric microenterprises. Along with leaders from other incubators in Puerto Rico, she took part of the workshops offered by the Fundación Comunitaria de Puerto Rico and ConsultCom. We are proud of this achievement that will benefit our participants.
Lariana has also been active in promoting services and programs of our organization in different towns of the island, always seeking to reach a larger population.
We move forward with great enthusiasm in this new year, that we hope will bring many good things for everyone. Grateful for your contribution, we wish you many blessings, health and solidarity in the new year 2022.

Emprendiendo Nuevos Caminos

Graduacion Capacitacion Empresarial
El sábado 28 de agosto 2021 concluimos nuestro primer Ciclo virtual de Capacitación Empresarial, ofrecido por la Incubadora de microempresas Semillas de Casa sin Fronteras. Celebramos con la entrega de certificados en una actividad híbrida, presencial y virtual.
32 empresarios y empresarias culminaron meses de trabajo intenso, dándole forma a sus planes de negocios, estrategias de mercadeo, destrezas de administración y aprendiendo lo esencial para desarrollar sus negocios con éxito y con un enfoque solidario y comunitario. En este grupo se han desarrollado microempresas de alimentos, de servicios, de la industria de la aguja, de servicios de salud, de cuido de infantes, entre otros.
Durante los meses que siguen continuaremos ofreciéndole a este grupo de empresarios mentoría individual y personalizada para apoyarles en la implementación de sus negocios. Todavía queda un camino por recorrer, pero ya se va viendo la forma que cada uno le va dando a su micro empresa.
La Incubadora Semillas y Casa sin Fronteras está muy orgullosa de todos y todas estos emprendedores, que contra viento, marea y pandemia han trabajado arduamente por lograr ser autosostenibles mediante sus micro empresas. También agradecemos a quienes han apoyado este proyecto con sus donativos a través de GlobalGiving. Nos ayudan a hacer el sueño realidad para estos compañeros.
