Psycho-social intervention needed
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your kind support to our project assisting children with disabilities. It is indeed a very difficult life for children when they are disabled much more when they grow to be adults and the disability is not treated. They have very low chances in living a good life and they have low self-esteem. We realize during this time that there are children too whose disabilities is inside them and not physical. For example those who have lost their parents and siblings during calamities. They seem to be allright but deep inside them they are crying and sad. During this reporting period we are trying to link with organizations and individual experts who are able to assist and provide psychosocial intervention to children. Hoping that we will be successful in this endeavour.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Christian

Preparing Baby Dimple for second surgery
Dear Friend,
Warmest greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project assisting children with disabilities. Still during this reporting period we continue assisting Baby Dimple and her family in order for Baby Dimple to be completely healed. Late last year Baby Dimple was successfully operated upnm on her cleft lip palate by a team of Australian experts and the surgical operation was a success. However there was a complication because after about 2 weeks the inner palate operation became infected and the surgery bacame detached. There is a need for Dimple to undergo again another surgery in order to close her palate or else she will have difficulty speaking well. We have the surgery scheduled by this first quarter and we need a lot of help for the family, especially for Dimple during the first 2 months after the surgery because she will not be able to eat hard food and need highly nutritious soft food that she will be able to take.
Hoping for your kindness and generosity.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed

Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous donation to our project providing assistance to children with disabilities. This reporting period we are happy to announce that the cleft palate operation of baby Dimple is successful. She was operated upon by a team of interplast surgeons coming from Australia. Dimple is doing well and we are supporting her family with food and household provisions. This is because the husband is jobless and is looking for work while the wife is only staying in the house taking care of the children. We will also try to look for work for the husband. On the long term, we will provide Dimple with funds for her education so that she will succeed in life.
Hoping for your generous support to this project so that we will be able to assist more children suffering from the same condition.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed
