Thank you so much for supporting Les Fruits de Mer and Amuseum Naturalis. We’ve had an amazing spring and summer so far thanks to your help! Here are a few things we’ve done in the last three months:
- We hosted 10 school class visits and 6 summer camp/after school group visits to Amuseum Naturalis. We do fun activities together with the groups, like the Bird Habitat Scavenger Hunt, where we find all kinds of things in nature that birds need.
- We launched the print version of our bilingual book, The Old House, which showcases the historic home where Amuseum Naturalis is located.
- We gave away 1,312 books to students and teachers in Sandy Ground as part of a special program to support education for kids in this town. 20% of the funding for this project came from your donations! The books included new bilingual coloring and activity books featuring local sea life: Soualiga Sea and Super St. Martin OCEAN!
Thanks so much for your support! All of our books are available for free, so download some free books! There’s fascinating stuff for kids and people of all ages.
We have received two grants for that will allow us to distribute an additional 1,650 books to students and schools in 2023. To use them, we need to provide €2,294 of our own funding. If you are able to make a donation, please help us reach this goal! It is only about $1.50 per book, so even a small donation can impact many kids.
We’ve got a lot more great things lined up for 2023, so stay tuned. As always, thanks for your support. We couldn’t do it without you!

Thank you so much for supporting Les Fruits de Mer and Amuseum Naturalis. We’ve had an amazing year and we’re still working hard right through until the end. Here are a few things we’ve done in the last three months:
- Hosted hundreds of kids on free school visits to the Amuseum.
- Launched new exhibits about sargassum and unique native plants.
- Published four new books! The Soualiga Island and Soualiga Sea coloring books teach young kids about local animals and how to write their names in four languages. Super St. Martin OCEAN! is a fun bilingual activity book for older kids about St. Martin’s marine life. Incredibilia! is a bilingual book full of amazing stories about the island’s animals and plants.
- We’re finishing up our distribution of over 7,000 free books to students, teachers and schools on St. Martin in 2023.
- We have expanded the reach of the Amuseum by providing free copies of our exhibit panels to four schools on the island.
Thanks so much for your support! All of our books are available for free, so download some free books! There’s fascinating stuff for kids and people of all ages.
We have just received two new grants for that will allow us to distribute an additional 1,650 nature and heritage books to students and schools in 2023.
