Spring season is coming!

Dear friend,

We keep in the mission of giving a happier childhood to the children in Chile and the Valparaíso region. During this year we achieved two big goals: in the first place we collaborated with Conconcito Kindergarten, by planting again their greenhouse with spring species, like tomatoes, sunflowers and others. In the second place, we started a new program called ‘Educational Playground’ with Irma Salas School, in Concón, by cleaning their green areas and installing a new orchard.

The Conconcito Kindergarten receives around 136 children in the first stage of their childhood, between 0 and 4 years old. This kind of project helps a lot with the teachers' labor, because it opens the possibility to learn outside and enjoy the spring season.

On the other hand, Irma Salas School receives 395 childrens, between 4 and 15 years old. Is also located in Caleta Higuerillas, an historic neighborhood in Concón with a lot of social difficulties. In this establishment we made a really energetic activity, by cleaning the playground with green areas, which was in really bad condition after the covid-19 pandemic. This activity was possible thanks to the collaboration of the students and teachers. Also, in this place we install new structures for the educational orchard.

We are really happy with these achievements and hope to keep adding new activities for the childrens and teenagers of the region. Is very hopeful to see the energy and motivation of the young people for taking actions on the environmental problems, and also help to improve their educational spaces.

Regards,

Conconcito Kindergarten
