A Legacy Forged in Compassion. In 1917, Maulvi Ferozuddin’s personal tragedy—losing his wife, Kaneez Fatima, to inadequate healthcare—ignited a revolution. Decades later, his son Dr. Abdul Waheed and daughter-in-law Begum Saida Waheed (a freedom fighter) transformed grief into action. Built on the grounds of a historic prison, Fatima Memorial Hospital (FMH) has become a sanctuary for women, children, and underserved communities, offering free or subsidized care to millions. Today, the NUR Fatima Memorial System spans healthcare, education, disaster relief, and research, embodying a century of unyielding faith in humanity.By the Numbers: Impact Since 1977
