Since 1977, Fatima Memorial Hospital has provided free or highly subsidized treatment to 10.04 million deserving patients through the generous support of ZAKAT funds. With a remarkable maternal mortality rate of just 0.07% and a neonatal mortality rate of 2.07%, FMH is dedicated to delivering exceptional medical services and ensuring accessibility and affordability for all.
Fatima Memorial Hospital (FMH) emerged from a tragic personal loss, serving as a testament to resilience and determination. Maulvi Feroz-ud-din, a distinguished scholar, experienced the devastating loss of his young wife, Kaneez Fatima, due to the lack of adequate medical facilities during childbirth in 1917. In 1944, Maulvi Feroz-ud-din founded the Ferozsons Trust, aiming to provide healthcare and promote education and social development for the underprivileged. In 1971, Dr. Abdul Waheed and Begum Saida Waheed, the son and daughter-in-law of Maulvi Feroz-ud-din, donated their assets to establish a hospital dedicated to women and children, bringing the Trust's vision to life.
FMH, established in 1977, has grown from a 200-bed community hospital to a 453-bed multi-specialty tertiary care teaching hospital. It focuses on providing high-quality healthcare for women and children. To carry our mission of providing quality health care to all regardless of their ability to pay we rely on the support of your funds.
Fatima Memorial is among one of the few hospitals in Lahore equipped with a separate neonatology unit to provide optimal support to children who need it. Fatima Memorial also has 4 gynecology and obstetrics units to cater to the needs of the female population, providing vaginal delivery, cesarean section, infertility treatment, and other gynecological issues.
