On the local front, in the Ithaca area, we gave donations to the free community closet through the winter (3 van fulls of children clothing and toys), we sorted donations to take to pregnant women in need (portable baby cribs, baby bathtubs, and some sleeping sacks), and we also gave donations to the Lansing church for specific community members in need.
In Hoduras, we have organized two medical brigades to El Rodeito. We picked up the doctors from Los Encinitos and took them to El Rodeito. They set up at the elementary school until the hospital is ready. Additionally we provided food for the doctors and dentists. During the medical brigades in El Rodeito they see about 50 patients each brigade (2 days) and the last dentist visit they did 100 extractions.
We thank you for your donation, and encourage you to support this project, and the really big project that will allow the medical brigades to work in better conditions, our health clinic. https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/build-a-health-clinic-to-change-lives/
