Everything is a dream until you make it real

By Jan Menear | Project Manager

YWOW Class of 2024
YWOW Class of 2024

"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose." Dr Seuss

Grateful thanks to our donors, many of whom are Epworth Alumni and Alumnae, and continue to validate this worthy programme.... we truly appreciate your ongoing support and contributions.

Congratulations YWOW Class of 2024, keep in touch

“In celebrating our outstanding results, we applaud the girls who have done extraordinarily well and achieved their goals. We also praise the girls for whom this was not easy: to the girls who rallied against learning barriers, mental health issues and other difficult circumstances whose results are as extraordinary. We also sincerely thank the dedicated and passionate staff who have worked tirelessly to ensure the success of every girl”, said Mrs Dionne Redfern, Head of Epworth High School.

YWOW, a 100% pass rate, each earning a bachelor’s degree pass, well done! See URL and PDF links below for more!

 Welcome Gr 8 YWOW

The start of a journey into a YWOW sisterhood that will last a lifetime! Epworth School is a place where strangers become friends and friends become sisters.

The Grade 8 Orientation camp is the perfect opportunity for YWOW to work as a team and build new friendships as the new YWOW embark on their high school journey together.

YWOW Alumna’s short film is selected to open the Africa Rising International Film Festival

YWOW Phumi Morare shares the following in a recent interview with the Mail and Guardian:

“I was in high school, and I think because of the way my English literature teacher used to analyse films with us, I was just in awe of the process and the writer, how it was made and all the thought that went into it and all of the meaning and themes and how they shot it to convey certain things.

“I was struck by the beautiful layers of storytelling and the fact that it’s also so moving, and it just sits with you.”

“I decided I wanted to make something that just moves people and makes them think about things differently or makes them process something about life.” Please see the ARIFF URL link and PDF attachment below for more!!

We hope you, our much-appreciated donors, feel the same pride as we do in delivering this report. Thank you time and again for your generosity.
