Educating children and youth
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our project helping children and youth be safe and healthy during this time with the Coronavirus pandemic. The situation is dire and our hospitals are already full and the need to support the youth is more urgent. We don't know when the situation will last but this we think is on a long haul. We only see darkness and thank you very much for your help, we are able to provide support to the youth despite our financial situation which is becoming difficult too. It seems that everyone is on to more difficulties. This reporting period we continue to provide education campaign to children and youth in 3 villages we are working by distributing flyers and leaflets in order for them to keep in mind the basic health protocols to keep away the infection of the virus. Hoping for your continuing support to our initiative.

Mobilizing the youth
Dear Friend,
Greetings and thank you vey much for your support to our initiative mobilizing the youth in order to undertake actions in order to educate the public about the negative impact of the Coronavirus pandemic not only in terms of health but also in terms of the economic situation of the villages. The Coronavirus is truly a pandemic because very far flung villages are affected with devastating results especially to the elderly and the young. This reporting period we mobilized and trained a total of 220 youths coming from our project areas so they can help in the education campaign with 3 very specific messages we advocate which are social distancing, wearing of face masks and self-isolation if symptoms are present. So far our approach is effective and we need more support in order to replicate these in additional villages. Hoping for your kindness and generosity. Thank you so much.

Launching youth gardening
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative mobilizing the youth to implement actions mitigating the negative impact of the Coronavirus pandemic. This reporting period we launched a youth initiative mobilizing and training leaders and volunteers so that they are able to start model vegetable gardens in their backyards as sources of food, income and exerice for the whole family. Exercise and camaraderie is a much-needed ingridient during this time when movement is severely restricted and families are told to stay within the bounds of their homes. Gardening is very effective because we have plenty of sun, rich soil and much rain to naturally water the plants. We are able to engage 720 youth in this manner and we hope to expand to more youth in the next weeks. Hoping for your continuing support and join us in this advocacy.
