Midwifery-led Youth Groups create a bright and hopeful future
Our youth program is now 5 years strong and helping Haiti’s youth become active and compassionate citizens. We recently hosted and celebrated 200 youth who readily demonstrated how well they have understood, retained and integrated what they have learned about sexual and reproductive health, nutrition, building healthy relationships and communities and climate resilience. BRAVO!
Investing in our youth and the earth is investing in a healthier today and tomorrow.
Our Midwifery-led Youth Groups not only offer health education but help reverse the negative effects of climate change and food insecurity by gifting each participant a combination of 5 fruit & vegetable trees upon completion of the program. This not only provides a source of nutrition but is a way to increase family income.
Education creates a promising future for all.Join us in nurturing our youth and our planet by partnering with our “Youth Changing Haiti One Tree at a Time” program.
This holiday season, consider a gift with a long range impact.
Imagine the impact you can make: $15 as a one-time donation will provide 5 trees to a youth enrolled in one of our youth programs and a $15 monthly donation in a year would gift 12 young Haitians and provide 60 trees! All donations are appreciated and directly support this transformative program's initiatives.
Join our community and be part of the solution!
“Well, I believe that education should expand our consciousness, capabilities, sensitivities, and cultural understanding. It should enlarge our worldview. As we all live in two worlds—the world within you that exists only because you do, and the world around you—the core purpose of education is to enable students to understand both worlds. In today’s climate, there is also a new and urgent challenge: to provide forms of education that engage young people with the global-economic issues of environmental well-being.” ~Sir Ken Robinson (was a global authority on creativity, education, and human potential)
