Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project transforming the young into eco-warriors and eco-leaders. Leadership is very urgent and crucial here especially with the effects of climate change negatively resulting to poor harvests, massive crop losses and poverty of small-scale, marginal farming families. This reporting period, we focused on educating the youth in growing and utilizing highly nutritious vegetables that are growing naturally in the hillsides. In this way, nutritious food in the table is not only free but are not sprayed with harmful chemicals to kill insects since these vegetables naturally survive without being susceptible to insect attacts. Shown here is that type of vegetable called talinum which is a nutrient powerhouse.
