The Mark Bell Scholarship allows underprivileged students in institutional homes to attend higher education. Many students in these homes live paycheck to paycheck and don’t have the privilege to focus on their education. Through this scholarship, children living in foster homes can achieve their goals and aspirations without being limited by financial barriers.
It's heartwarming to see that three out of the four scholars have received laptops to support them as they begin their educational journey. These young adults are not only colorful and impressive but also filled with potential and ambition.
Moreover, being recipients of the Children's Community Fund of ¥250,000 further showcases the support and dedication towards these students' success. Their appeal for donors to commit for four years highlights the importance of long-term assistance in ensuring these children have a stable foundation for their future.
With a total of 13 scholars benefiting from this scholarship, the need for continuous funding is crucial. Monthly contributions can make a significant difference in enabling these students to focus on their studies without having to worry about financial constraints.
In addition to financial support, part-time jobs during school and networking opportunities for permanent positions post-graduation can greatly enhance the scholars' overall success. By providing these students with holistic support, we are not only investing in their education but also their prospects and overall well-being.
This week, we're thrilled to be part of the @GlobalGiving Little By Little campaign! With your support, we can make a huge impact through small acts of kindness. For every donation, GlobalGiving is offering a 50% match, up to $50. That means your contribution goes even further in transforming lives! Let's show the power of community and make a difference in the lives of these students. Join us in spreading hope and empowerment. Every little bit counts!
