By Nathali Perez Cordoba | General Manager

The project consisted of carrying out a series of workshops aimed at children and young people, where they were provided with crucial information about human trafficking, how to identify risk situations and the preventive measures they can take. Interactive activities and educational resources were also included to make the workshops more dynamic and effective.
Participants:
- Minor Beneficiaries: 62
- Volunteers: 16
- Total Participants: 78 people from the community
Interactive workshops were held inside the community center, where topics such as:
- What is human trafficking?
- How to identify a trafficker.
- Prevention and protection strategies.
- Help resources and contacts.
Brochures, posters and educational guides designed to be understandable and accessible to children and their families were distributed. The volunteers received training on how to deliver the workshops and handle sensitive situations with minors.
- Donation Received: 20 dollars
- Use of Funding: The donation was used for the production and acquisition of educational resources, such as printed materials, supplies for activities, and refreshments for participants. The project had a significant impact on the community, achieving:
- Increase knowledge and awareness about human trafficking among minors and their families.
- Strengthen the community's capacity to identify and prevent trafficking situations.
- Create a support network and accessible resources for potential victims.
The "Protecting Children from Human Trafficking" project was successful in achieving its education and awareness objectives. Thanks to workshops and educational resources, 78 people in the community are now better equipped to identify and prevent human trafficking. We thank the donors and volunteers for their support and commitment to this important cause. We thank donors for their support and look forward to continuing our cause.
