Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your donation to our project women-led fruit and vegetable production initiative. Fruits and vegetables if they are growing well and producing good crops spell income and food security for farmers. This time with the rain starting we are scaling-up our efforts to provide farmers with seeds and seedlings so that they are able to increase their planting areas for their crops. Seeds and seedlings are badly needed and support for farmers for this is crucial. We also train farmers especially women in the processing of their excess products otherwise this only go to waste. Farm products easily go to waste and processing them will add value. We were able to train 20 women this reporting period how to process their excess banana into wine and vinegar.
