WOMEN EMPOWERMENT & SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT REPORT

By PETER OGALLO | Project Leader

Bacha Care has managed to cater for over 700 women during this difficult time of Covid 19, we have been able to raise $300 for each of the women to start up small business in different parts of the country. We have managed to secure beddings for a number of single women families that are currently facing challenges because they were reduced redound due to the Covid 19

At the moment we are planning to make a visit to the Rift valley part of Kenya where a number of households are going through very many financial challenges and our plan is to help the families start small scale business that can help sustain them through the hard time of Covid.

Our project in set up suitable development empowerment program in the Rift Valley is $3,000 which we are struggling to raise due to insufficient funding, we are left to plan by ourselves due to lack of partners and funders, the project is set to help sustain over 200 women with children in the Rift Valley

We are also plan to donate over 130 maternity beds to some hospitals within the Rift valley, these hospitals have been lacking these essential beds and beddings that would help a number of our mothers deliver easily, the hospitals have less maternity bed that make our mothers wait all time during labor pain.

The entire donation program are set to be done during the month of April and May, we shall send and attach pictures and documentations during and after the donation.
