The Women Bricklayers transform lives.

Rita vive con sus nueve hijos en la Villa 21-24, un barrio informal de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Desde hace años, ella misma sustenta a su familia y enfrenta la lucha diaria por salir adelante.

Cada vez que llovía, su casa se inundaba. El agua empapaba colchones, ropa y paredes, dejando a Rita ya sus hijos expuestos al peligro constante de cortocircuitos debido a la precariedad de las instalaciones eléctricas. La humedad persistió durante días, provocando enfermedades respiratorias en casi todos los miembros de la familia.

Pero un día todo cambió. Gracias a la intervención de las Mujeres Albañiles de la Villa 21-24, su casa dejó de ser un lugar inseguro e insalubre. Después de dos semanas de arduo trabajo bajo el sol, lograron reparar su techo y transformar su hogar.

Rita sigue enfrentando desafíos, pero hoy su familia puede dormir tranquila, sin temor a que la lluvia les quite el descanso. Su historia es un testimonio de lucha y esperanza. Y con tu ayuda, podemos seguir transformando vidas. Tu donación puede hacer la diferencia.
