Our 12th annual year of delivering winter necessities and gifts to indigenous families and children in Taiwan was a wonderful success. While our fundraising started a bit slow, we were fortunate enough to have local support that put us over the top.
This year we provided over 300 food staples to 25 indigenous families in Hsinchu and Taitung, fulfilled the wishlist of gifts and clothing for 35 children, and delivered 70 kg of organic rice from Vegan Heaven. Our long term commitment has never wavered to our communities while providing support and workshops for them all year round. We kicked off our reindeer deliveries in the mountains of Hsinchu, working once again with Taoshan Elementary School and the Catholic Church to source families andchildren that would benefit the most. We look forward to the coming year and what awaits us!
