This project will assist India's first and the only adoption agency that caters exclusively to the14 adoptable children with special needs, to purchase diapers and milk formula for one year. Intended goal is to cover 2024 and 2025.
Hope House is recognized by the state of Tamilnadu in India as the specialized adoption agency (SAA) to cater exclusively to adoptable children with special needs and our capacity is 14 children. We receive children from all over the state of Tamilnadu. We do not have any kind of state funding at this moment and the entire cost is borne by the generosity of individuals like you.
There are five major expenses at the adoption agency namely - salaries, milk powder, diapers, healthcare costs and transportation costs. Milk powder and diapers are round the year recurrent expenses. This particular milk powder (Lactogen of Nestle) is recommended by the child health experts saying that it comes close to breast milk and disposable diapers are used for hygienic & economic purposes. It is our hope that with your support, we want to care for these babies in the best environment.
It is believed that the first three years of any child's life is the most important period for growth and development. With the Lactogen, we hope to keep the babies healthy and strong while use the diapers to keep the babies clean. By extending this help for these children to keep them healthy & strong, we believe that we are not only changing one child's future but a generation.
