Need Diapers & Milk powder for 14 babies in India

Dear Supporter,

good morning and greetings to you from the Hope House.  You have been supporting the adoption agency with babies that are eligible for adoption and I want to give you this exciting update from our end.  

After waiting for 27 months after receiving the adoption agency license, at last the day had come for us to place children in loving homes through adoption.  So far, we have placed two children.

First child with medical needs was accepted by a family in the US and both the adoptive parents came on July 1st to receive the child.  As it was our first adoption, we were a bit nervous but everything went as planned.  We hosted a special lunch for the adoptive parents to make it as a formal farewell to the child and also to say a formal thank you to all the caretakers who gave their best for this child up until that point.  Many caretakers had heavy hearts on one side but on the other side to see the child happy in the arms of her adoptive parents gave them immense joy.  Since it was the first adoption, we requested our district collector to oversee the handing over and she graciously agreed and it went well also.  

Second child with medical needs was accepted by a loving family in Italy.  Both the adoptive parents came on July 27th and left on August 1st.  They spent three days in our town to ensure that the child gets used to them and also to have a medical team visit to get all the information that the family was looking for.  We were able to do all that and more and we very much appreciated the thoughtfunless of the adoptive parents to stay for three days to ensure that the child gets used to them and got all the medically necessaary information regarding the child before they left the place.  

We have been getting updates on whatsapp from both the families and to see them getting adjusted so well filled our hearts with joy and happiness.  We have no doubt that these families will bring up these children like their own.  

I cannot thank you adeqautely in words about the help that you have been rendering to these children for all these months.  As you know, we are a self funded organization and to wait for 27 months with 14 babies with special needs children to place the first child in adoption, you can only imagine of our challenges for resrouces to stay afloat.  Yes, your faithful support is what enabled us to stay focuseed to do the right thing.  I want to say a big thank you for your trust and unwavering support in our work.
