Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing water to remote villages. Water is becoming scarce here and sources are in distant mountains and the most burdened are women and children who are relegated the task of fetching water often walking long distances. This reporting period, we provided water to a small cluster of 15 families by providing them materials where they are able to draw water from an uphill stream by means of gravity. This technique is fairly simple and entails the use of polyethylene pipes drawing water from a spring or reservoir. The system will last for many years and maintenance is very low. Hoping for your continuing support so that we are able to construct additional water systems like this.
