"Give the Gift of Life" Water to Schools in Gaza

Project update

Dear Donor,

Thank you again for your generous donation to our project “Clean Water to the School Children of Gaza”. We raised $7011 as of January 4, 2011. Our goal is $16,000.

We are on target, and we did identify several locations that are ideal candidates for such a project. We are hoping that we will have the full amount raised by early spring which will give us summer to finalize this project and have it ready for the 2022/2023 school year.

We are almost ready to finalize the registration of the Hope Foundation of Palestine in the West Bank and Gaza as a foreign nonprofit organization. Initially, we were hoping to submit the paperwork in October, but the translation took more time than anticipated. The translation is now completed. Our next challenge was for the Palestinian Authority to accept the paperwork we submitted as an official paperwork from the United States. They asked that such paperwork be certified by the Palestinian Consulate in Washington DC, however, such an office does not exist (it was closed in 2016). We are trying to have such paperwork be certified by the Palestinian Consulate in Mexico or Canada or give us a waiver. Once done the application will be submitted. Once submitted we should hear from the Palestinian Authority within 90 days. Once approved, The Hope Foundation of Palestine will be able to do charitable work in the West Bank and Gaza.

In the meantime, we have chosen the leadership in the West Bank and Gaza. We have a dedicated team of four individuals in the West Bank and three individuals in Gaza. We already established a main office in the West Bank and a branch in Gaza.

Rest assured that once we are approved to do work in Palestine, we will use the funds raised to provide clean water for the children of Gaza.
