We received $44.00 for this period. It was enough for us to connect water to the toilets and pay for the cost of petrol to pump water from the well to the water tank mounted on top of the building deck from where water is accessed to flush the toilets and to bathe.
We are yet to build our underground water tank which is the purpose for this project. We are still facing water adversity in the dry season. The rainy season is starting. We will have abundance of water that will go to watse because there is no place to store it. Come dry season, we start facing water scarcity, buying water from water tankers who peddle water at a very high cost. We hope that someone can come to our rescue so that we will have access to water year round.
