Dear GlobalGiving,
We are having troubles with the platform web page and wey couldn't post our report. Here we are sending the text and attaching the pictures we would like to appear in the report.
We are also sending a screenshot of the error in your webpage.
We really hope to hear from You soon
Thanks to your support Jaguar del Carrizal Natural Reserve is about to green and bloom!!!
Last time we posted a report we were starting our nursery to plant food for Jaguar’s prey animals and recovering the stream. Up to this point we have produced 10.000 trees, all of them native species, including fruit trees, timber trees and several endangered species like Ebony, Carreto, and Olla de mono. Our goal is to plant these 10.000 trees by means of environmental education activities so we can share what we know about the Jaguar and the Tropical Dry Forest and this way more people will be engaged in conservation and sustainability. We are also supporting the creation of local communities nurseries so not only our Jaguar del Carrizal Natural reserve has an impact on ecosystems but we can have a wider influence and recover ecosystem balance in as many places as we can.
First planting parties have taken place already and we are receiving very diverse visitors willing to plant a tree and give back to earth a part of what we receive (which is quite a lot actually!!!). This planting parties we combine them with environmental and artistic workshops with topics like , germination techniques, types of seeds and reproductive strategies, species of the Tropical dry forest, native indigenous cosmovision of the territory and human impacts, theater, weaving as medicine, music…
We are really exited about what is coming and we really hope all of our supporters would one day come and see the amazing reach a donation can have.
