December 18 was no ordinary day. It was an extraordinary day filled with warmth and hope that transcended borders, from the Shujaiya neighborhood in northern besieged Gaza to our modest office in the city of Mersin, Turkey.
You, the kind-hearted souls, were the hands that reached out to restore life and the voice that whispered reassurance into the hearts of children who had lost everything.
Thanks to your generosity, we were able to provide warm winter clothes to 18 orphaned children in the Shujaiya neighborhood. These are children who have lost their homes, dreams, and even their memories. Some have lost one or both parents during the recent war, which left them with nothing but pain and cold.
Why Is This Assistance Critical Now?
In this harsh winter, Gaza’s children lack even the basic necessities to protect them from the cold. Every piece of clothing you sent was not merely physical warmth but also a sense of safety and dignity that reassured them they are not alone in this harsh world.
But the story doesn’t end here. Hundreds of other children are still waiting, their eyes filled with hope, for the same generous hand that helped their peers to reach them too.
We need your continued generosity to enable us to:
Provide more winter clothing to shield children from the harsh cold.
Offer struggling families a chance at a life with more warmth and dignity.
Support our team in northern Gaza to reach as many needy children as possible.
