Your Bread Brings Warmth

By Hasan Sadik | Project leader

Dear Donor,

Today, we write to share with you a heartbreaking story from northern Gaza—the story of Khaloud, a young girl who lost her father during the last brutal war on the region. Once filled with dreams carried on her father’s shoulders, Khaloud now faces life with only her mother by her side, grappling with the cruel realities of a world that feels endlessly harsh.

Khaloud’s mother is waging a relentless battle to protect her child, constantly on the move in search of safety and a morsel of bread to keep them alive. Each step she takes is driven by fear but also by unwavering determination to shield her daughter. Each night Khaloud spends hungry is a cry for help, a cry for hope that someone out there hears her plight.

Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to become the hope Khaloud desperately needed. We provided her family, along with many others, with bread—a simple yet vital staple that is not just food but life itself for hundreds of struggling families in Gaza. This bread does more than nourish; it brings warmth to their cold winter nights, offering comfort and a sense of security amidst the harsh chill. For these families, your kindness is like a fire that keeps their spirits alive, wrapping them in a blanket of care when they need it the most.

The importance of your donations goes beyond feeding the hungry. They illuminate the darkest moments and promise a better tomorrow. Your continued support ensures that this light never fades, breathing life into families exhausted by war and deprivation.

Together, we make change happen.

Thank you for your boundless humanity.
