Warmth for Gaza... Be a Support for the Displaced

With the arrival of the harsh winter, the suffering of thousands of Palestinian families whose homes were destroyed by the war intensifies, leaving them in tents that lack the most basic necessities. In Al-Wahidi camp, north of Gaza, 250 displaced families spend their nights under the threat of cold that endangers the lives of their children and amplifies their pain.

"Winter in Gaza is not just weather, it is a daily struggle threatening the lives of the displaced."

While we enjoy warmth in our homes, there are children shivering, and mothers struggling daily to protect their little ones from the relentless cold.

However, thanks to your humanitarian generosity, we were able to distribute firewood for heating to 250 families in the camp. This support was not only a means of warmth, but a message of hope and life to the families who have suffered from war and displacement.

From northern Gaza, and specifically from the heart of Shuja’iyya neighborhood, which has witnessed painful chapters of suffering, we write to you today to share a glimpse of hope sparked by your generous contributions in the life of the orphaned child Hind.

Hind, a young girl in her tender years, lost her father during the recent events in Gaza. She began her journey of pain, losing the only support in her life, and now lives with her mother, enduring a recurring tragedy of displacement in search of safety—a safety that has been missing for over a year. Every day was the same for her: bitter cold, deferred dreams, and hope hidden behind the rubble.

Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to provide Hind with some of the warmth she so desperately needed. We secured winter clothing to protect her small body from the harsh cold and provided her with new shoes so she could step forward toward a safer future. Her smile when she received these small items was a testament to the profound impact you have made on the lives of Gaza's children.
