In the conflict-affected regions of Ukraine, we will provide 100 vulnerable individuals and families with essential winter survival items. Each Warming Basket of Care will contain a warm plaid, a thermos, and a power bank with an integrated flashlight to help displaced families, the elderly, and those with special needs survive harsh winter conditions and electricity cutouts.
As winter approaches in Ukraine's war-torn regions, vulnerable individuals face critical challenges of surviving without reliable electricity, heating, and basic necessities. Many displaced families, elderly, and people with special needs lack essential items to cope with harsh winter conditions and frequent power outages, putting their health and survival at risk.
By providing 100 Warming Baskets of Care, we offer immediate, practical support that addresses three crucial needs: warmth (thermal blanket), hydration (thermos for hot drinks), and safety (powerbank with flashlight). These carefully selected items help beneficiaries maintain basic comfort and security during cold weather and power cuts, while also ensuring they can stay connected with family and emergency services.
Beyond immediate winter survival, this project strengthens community resilience and helps prevent health deterioration among vulnerable populations. The psychological impact of receiving support shows beneficiaries they aren't forgotten, helping maintain hope and dignity. By supporting basic needs during critical winter months, we help families conserve their limited resources for other essential needs, contributing to their longer-term stability and recovery.
