Last year, thanks to donor support, we provided warm clothing, wood burning stoves, and fuel to schools and 122 students on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. The program was such a success we once again will provide warm clothing and fuel for 126 students to keep them in schools and cozy in the cold Tibetan winter!
Winter on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau is cold and students have limited access to warm clothing. Keeping students warm means they can get to, from, and stay in school during the coldest months!
By providing warm clothing for 126 students at the schools we are keeping them warm so that they can focus on learning!
Keeping the students in schools over the winter months will improve the future prospects for the 126 students, providing safe, healthy and warm space for them to learn now, ensures that they will have more opportunities in the future.
