This project will provide food, shelter, education, health and hygiene support for 750 vulnerable girls affected by the Coronavirus pandemic as well as with other upcoming disaster that is expected to happen in the near future.
The Coronavirus pandemic is affecting thousands of vulnerable girls as domestic violence, hunger and lack of access to much-needed resources is becoming very limited. There is a need to provide support for girls in very dire situation as the country is not only facing the Coronavirus pandemic but is also prone to natural disasters such as typhoons and earthquakes.
This project will provide immediate, quick and targeted response to girls in need during this Coronavirus pandemic as well as with other disasters that is sure to come our way. The fund is flexible and can be delivered in a very short time, with ease and less bureaucracy. In so doing, we will be saving a lot of girls suffering from dire circumstances.
Taking care of the well-being of women and girls means improved welfare and ensures the survival of local communities. The situation especially with the Coronavirus pandemic is difficult and there is a need to offer flexible, targeted solution.
