Due to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we have surpassed our fundraising goal. We cannot express enough how grateful we are for your support and generosity!
Because we have met our need in order to clean-up and repair after the eruption of Volcán de Fuego, we will be de-activating this fundraiser. You can always continue to support EFTC by donating to our main project here on GlobalGiving, or by contacting us via our website www.eftcusa.org
With the money that we have raised beyond our original goal, we will support the family of one of our employees who was injured while working to repair damage to the school caused by the volcano. The injuries are not life-threatening, but serious enough to keep him from work for a time while he recovers.
Thank you again for your generosity and support. We hope that you’ll continue to support our efforts in the future, but that you will also consider supporting other foundations that are bringing much needed aid to the communities in Guatemala affected by this natural disaster.
