Furtherance to vocational training of adults with disability perceived on their skills were honed through “Making Of Welcome Rose” in this activity, they were trained in cutting foam in flower shape, role them, color them along with fixing stick to flower. Their eye–hand co-ordination and coloring-pasting skills were also sharpened. Apart from this, children elated in welcome rose making activity and engaged with full zeal & zest and enthusiasm. The uniqueness of “Welcome Rose” is perceived in all get-togethers, functions for welcome of students as “forever young flower”.
Along with this, making of Heena cone, paper bag, gardening and stitching training were provide to adults with disability as per their interest by vocational teachers. It would definitely an attempt to make them busy in such productive work nurturing them – securing future with hope & dignity.
