This is to share our updated and enhanced plan on Maruki Gallery’s Virtual Tour project!
First of all, we would like to thank you for your contribution to launch this project. It has been a year since we started working on it. The team has been able to film, edit, and add subtitles – now they are working to fine-tune the final version.
Today, we will give an overall picture as well as specific plans and timeline.
The purpose of this project is to make the Marukis' works and the Gallery itself accessible to people all over Japan and the world, so we decided to add different elements to make it into a three-part program. We also filmed a “tour” around the Gallery, and we are currently creating a program to reflect on the works of the Marukis from a historical perspective.
These two programs will be shared this August, then the virtual tour film will follow (The exact date will be confirmed shortly). The film will be available for a limited time period this year, so we will be sure to inform you when it is available for you to watch. Next year, it will become possible to access it at any time next year (timing TBC).
We will send you another report at the beginning of August to inform you the details of the programs to be released for the Hiroshima Memorial Event.
Thank you so much for your patience and all your support!
