We seek to offer the students at Jenaro Aguirre Elorriaga School knowledge, tools and values which will help them develop capabilities and improve their quality of life. We aim to form them as integral citizens.

For this, in addition to the school curriculum for preschool and basic education, children receive extracurricular activities to complete their training in English, art, music, among others. Through art, children become more creative, develop their ability to express themselves, which contributes to their cognitive training.

The Jenaro Aguirre’s art classroom is a special space, it is a classroom that stands out among the others, it is an area full of brushes, paintings, and works made by students who have left their mark there. It is a place that inspires the imagination and promotes the enthusiasm to create.

A great example of the magic that happens in the art classroom, was the exhibition presented by the students in June, as a closing activity for the 2023/2024 school year.

“Art allows us to discover, invent and try new things, mix colors to discover new tones, and then admire our work,” said Wilmerlys, a third-grade student, in her presentation.

Sixth grade students captured in colorful drawings what they want to be when they grow up: businessmen, soccer players, veterinarians, baseball players, lawyers, among other professions, like Samuel.

Other children remembered the journey of our beloved Mother María Luisa Casar from the time she arrived by boat to the Venezuelan lands until she left this world. She left the children a very special space in which they can train and prepare themselves to achieve their dreams.

This is how we, at the Mother Maria Luisa Casar Foundation, work to offer the children of Jenaro Aguirre School an integral quality education.
