Thank you for being a supporter of our film project, Valuing Our Veterans. Before you leave the office for the weekend, mark you calendar for October 23rd. Next Wednesday, Global Giving is running a Regional Bonus Day for projects based in North America. This means that for every donation you make, Global Giving will match 30% of your donation. PLUS the project that raises the most money on that day will win an additional $1000 from Global Giving.
As you may remember from our last update, we have big plans for our Veterans Project. Last month, we wrapped up post-production on our short film, A Different Kind of War. The film focuses on the Combat Veterans Cowboy Up program. The program, begun by Vietnam veteran, John Nash, invites veterans suffering from PTSD to stay and receive equine-assisted psychotherapy on Nash's Colorado ranch. Of course, as we wrap things up on A Different Kind of War, we must bear in mind that the struggle that many veterans endure upon returning home is, in many cases, never ending. As documentarians, it is our duty to continue gathering testimonies however, we can't do it alone!
If you can, please consider donating next week and support our project once more. All you have to do is log in anytime between Oct. 22nd at 9:01 pm and Oct. 23rd at 8:59, and donate. It's that easy!
Once again, thank you all for your continued support and enjoy the weekend!
