Urgent Appeal :Help the afflicted in Gaza

In Gaza, where the rays of the sun meet the clouds of sorrow, children are bearing the weight of injustice and destruction. These children, who are blameless, have known nothing of life but bombardment, death, and displacement. Their eyes have seen only war, and their hearts know only grief. In this deafening silence, the voice of the world has vanished, and humanity has abandoned its conscience.

Little Masa is one of the thousands of children still living in the shadow of tragedy. She has not yet seen life as it should be, having grown up in a refugee camp where all she knows is suffering. Like many other children in Gaza, Masa does not understand why she lost her father and brother to a deadly airstrike, nor why her mother tells her every day: "Your father and brother are traveling and will not return." The harsh truth is that Masa lost both her father and brother in one moment, a moment too painful for her to comprehend. She is just a child looking for a father’s embrace and a brother’s love.

In these difficult times, when despair and destruction steal away the essence of life, your white hand, dear donor, is the only support for this child. Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to provide her with bread to help her survive—bread that is not merely food but hope that nourishes their hearts, which have been dried by sorrow. Masa and her mother, as well as many other families who have lost their providers, now rely on your donations, which have given them a chance to live with dignity despite everything.

But the tragedy does not end here; it is only growing. Although bread may suffice for a day’s survival, continued support means there is still hope. Hope that we do not leave them alone in this darkness. Hope that we extend our hand to help them, despite all the challenges. If Masa has been able to get through today with bread, there are many more like her who are still waiting. Many children are in desperate need of this ongoing support in order to live with dignity.
