Dear Donor
Gaza… an unhealed wound, a suffering that renews itself every passing day. Amidst the rubble and destruction, between hunger and cold, hundreds of displaced families struggle to survive, searching for a bite to feed their children and a shelter to protect them from the harshness of life. The suffocating siege, scarce resources, and food shortages have turned even the simplest rights—like bread—into a distant dream for many families.
In the past few days, we managed to reach one of the temporary camps in Khan Younis, where we met little Ahed. Ahed, who is no older than ten, lives with her parents and two younger sisters in a small tent, after they were forced to flee from northern Gaza under the weight of bombardment and starvation. Her father used to work in a workshop, but he lost his job due to the destruction, leaving the family without any source of income, relying solely on the generosity of kind-hearted people.
Thanks to your support, we were able to provide bread for Ahed’s family. It may seem like a simple thing, but in Gaza, bread is life itself, a revival of hope. Here, bread is not just food; it is a lifeline in a reality that tightens its grip day by day.
But this support must not stop—there are hundreds of families like Ahed’s, dreaming only of a loaf of bread, a warm meal, and a night free of hunger. We urge you to continue your generosity, because every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference in the life of a child waiting for a bite to ease their empty stomach.
Thank you to everyone who contributed, to those who have not forgotten the people of Gaza in their hardship, and to those who have given Ahed and her family a glimmer of hope in this overwhelming darkness. Together, we can keep hope alive, one loaf at a time.
