By Jed Christian Z. Sayre | Project Leader
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support in order for us to assist those affected by Typhoon Mangkhut. The people in our target areas are mostly corn and vegetable farmers and life is difficult for them much more with the devastation caused by the typhoon. This reporting period, we are able to support 230 farmers with vegetable seeds, organic fertilizer and training so that they are able to harvest vegetables regularly. The vegetable seeds are ladys fingers, tomato, eggplant, spinach, bitter gourd, squash, among others. Families in our project area love vegetables and it is always part of their diet. We requested assistance from the local agriculture office in Baggao Municipality and they agreed to provide technical help so that the project will be successful.
Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed
