I am Nour, a 23-year-old entrepreneur, and I am proud to be the owner of an extraordinary educational center in the heart of Nablus. Our center is a place where students can gain knowledge, become empowered learners, and unleash their boundless potential. My journey toward entrepreneurship began four years ago, when I was a university student.
During my studies, life presented me with financial obstacles, pushing me to find ways to support myself. As I did different jobs, I discovered my natural talent for private tutoring. I started to provide personalized lessons to students, and the demand grew at an astonishing rate. Soon, my schedule filled and I was unable to accomodate all the requests I received for tutoring services. It was at this pivotal moment that I thought of the idea to connect students with remarkable teachers at a larger scale.
And so, my educational center project was born. We started by offering convenient home tutoring, where our exceptional teachers visited the students' homes, delivering personalized lessons. We continued offering more services by establishing dedicated classes for older students and building play and learning spaces so that young children could receive early childhood education.
Our vision extended beyond meeting immediate educational needs. We aimed to elevate the standards of education in our community, fostering a deep-seated love for science and learning within the hearts of our younger generation. We believed that this love would become the cornerstone of a prosperous society. By offering high quality educational services, our project not only fulfilled this vision but also created life-changing employment opportunities for over 20 exceptional teachers.
However, no journey worth embarking upon is without its fair share of challenges. Securing the necessary financing to develop the project was a significant obstacle, and building a cohesive and dedicated educational staff also came with challenges. Faced with these difficulties, I decided to join a women’s entrepreneurship program at Tomorrow’s Youth Organization to elevate my business skills.
Through the program, I gained valuable guidance and support that helped me navigate business challenges. As I learned about effective financial management, I started making changes to ensure the long-term sustainability of my business. Moreover, I learned to restructure my business so that I could expand job opportunities to more recent graduates, offering them the chance to become skilled, qualified teachers in their own right.
On a personal level, this journey has brought about a profound transformation within me. I gained more self-confidence and practical skills through the program. Engaging with brilliant minds of other WED participants from different regions has broadened my horizons. I've learned about different businesses and the lived realities of my peers living in other regions. The unwavering support and diverse perspectives I have received from my peers, trainers, and the TYO team have been instrumental in helping me build toward my dream on a larger scale.
Looking ahead, I am filled with excitement for the future of my project. I envision the services of my homeschool platform expanding to reach even broader geographical areas beyond Nablus. With unwavering determination and ambition, I will continue working towards making this dream a reality, aspiring to become an influential businesswoman in society.

Success will open doors to endless possibilities, and failures will only serve as stepping stones on the path to achievement.
