Progress report 2

By Justin NGABU | Country Director

TUMIKA KIJANA is a project focused on enhancing food security and driving economic growth through income-generating activities. By establishing clubs under the TUMIKA KIJANA name, the project empowers young people with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to engage in entrepreneurship and productive ventures. These clubs serve as platforms for youth to develop skills and collaborate on local initiatives that directly contribute to improving their economic conditions.

Through sustainable agricultural initiatives and local business ventures, TUMIKA KIJANA aims to create lasting livelihoods for young people. The project emphasizes the importance of food security as a foundational aspect of economic growth, ensuring that communities are not only economically stable but also capable of meeting their own food needs. The clubs provide a space where youth can engage in hands-on learning and develop income-generating projects that will benefit both individuals and the broader community.

Although TUMIKA KIJANA has not yet received donations, we remain hopeful for future support. We believe that with the right backing, this initiative will have a significant impact on empowering young people to achieve financial independence and contribute to the prosperity of their communities. By fostering innovation, collaboration, and self-sufficiency, TUMIKA KIJANA strives to build a more resilient and economically stable future for youth.
