Nuestro proyecto se ha implementado para prevenir y reducir infecciones respiratorias y contagios por COVID 19 en niñas, niños y jóvenes de 6 localidades de atención en la región de los Altos de Chiapas. Generar conocimientos para fortalecer hábitos, actitudes sobre el cuidado de la salud es de vital importancia en estos momentos de pandemia, para tener una vida más saludable.
En estos cuatro meses que llevamos de campaña en GlobalGiving hemos recibido 508 USD ($10,000) de 7 donadores, con este recurso hemos facilitado 5 talleres con la asistencia de 100 niños y niñas de los grados de preescolar y primaria, en las escuelas rurales de la zona que atendemos. Los temas han sido: Prevención de Infecciones Respiratorias, Técnica de Lavado de Manos, COVID 19.
Los talleres se llevan a cabo en lengua tstosil y son teórico prácticos apoyados con la metodología de Educación Popular (Paulo Freire, proceso participativo y transformador, en el que el aprendizaje y la conceptualización se basa en la experiencia práctica de las propias personas y grupos).

Our project has been implemented to prevent and reduce respiratory infections and infections by COVID 19 in children and young people from 6 care locations in the Altos de Chiapas region. Generating knowledge to strengthen habits, attitudes about health care is of vital importance in these times of pandemic to have a healthier life.
In these four months that we have been campaigning in GlobalGiving, we have received 508 USD ($10,000) from 7 donors, with this resource we have facilitated 5 workshops with the assistance of 100 boys and girls from preschool and primary grades, in rural schools of the area we serve. The topics have been: Prevention of Respiratory Infections, Hand Washing Technique, COVID 19.
The workshops are held in the Tstosil language and are theoretical-practical, supported by the Popular Education methodology (Paulo Freire, a participatory and transformative process, in which learning and conceptualization are based on the practical experience of the people and groups themselves).
We greatly appreciate your donation that supports us to grant these workshops, an action of vital importance in these times of pandemic.
