Tripoli Film Festival in partnership with SHiFT Social Innovation Hub would like to express their sincere gratitude for your donations and support.
Due to the Coronavirus restrictions and regulations imposed by the Lebanese government, the execution of the Tripoli Film Festival had to be postponed from June to October 2021. We are currently preparing for the festival which will take place between October 5th and 12th. Following the recruitment process, we are now working on our main communication plan. In the meantime, we are developing the festival image for the 7th edition of the Tripoli Film Festival and we are making our contacts to select the jury members for the three main sections of films including feature, short films, and documentaries. Moreover, we are in the process of choosing eligible panelists for the Forum section (Industry Days) which tackles all cinematic issues through its diverse activities including workshops, masterclasses and panel discussions. Additionally, our selection committee composed of well-known programmers has already begun the screening of 645 films received during the last season of film submissions. Accordingly, the official selection will be announced consecutively starting August 21st.
Yet, we still lack the fully needed financial support for the execution of the Tripoli Film Festival and we are looking forward to achieving it through advertising sales and crowdfunding campaign.
