Dear donors!
Our mission has always been focused on promoting quality education through comprehensive training programs that meet specific learning needs, developing, implementing and promoting a free, holistic and contextualized education, fostering the integral development of human capacities, therefore, now we seek to transfer and expand the philosophical principles and Montessori methods with which we have been working so that they can be implemented in the educational services of disadvantaged communities in the region, for this reason, it gives us great happiness to share great news with you! Our biggest dreams are coming true! And it is being made possible thanks to the blessing we have of working together with you. We have already begun laying the foundations for what will be a regional training center for teachers of the National Council for Educational Promotion (CONAFE), a decentralized public agency of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP).
Through the first talks and signings of a collaboration agreement, which will give shape and structure to the great dream of replicating our alternative and holistic education model, based on the Montessori method. We have already begun with the first online training sessions where nearly 200 teachers and CONAFE staff participated in three online sessions, where they learned the fundamental principles of the Montessori methodology, how it is applied in the sports environment and some mathematics presentations.
Thanks to the support of the Moisés Foundation, this year we were able to expand our playground, a space that serves as a safe place for children to play sports and also as a large family for our annual meetings or get-togethers. The space is truly beautiful and adapted to the sports needs of children, in addition to being in the shade of our beautiful forest.
Our main interest has always been in creating ties with the community and in making the project increasingly more far-reaching. That is why we currently offer evening workshops to children from the community who do not necessarily receive classes at the Ananda Learning Center. We want to be an inclusive project and an example for many others, including for the schools in the community. That is why, through these art, game and music workshops, we share our knowledge with the community.
All the donations we receive are being focused on replicating and expanding the scope of our project, so this year, which has been one of great progress, we are deeply grateful for helping us achieve our goals. The Ananda team feels truly motivated and supported by your support, and we once again express our deepest gratitude to you.
