Transforming Lives of 500 Maya Women in Mexico

Dear Donors,

First of all, ICDO wants to thank you for your trust and support in the past year!

ICDO's project "Transforming Lives of 500 Maya Women in Mexico", as a part of a larger project "Kalan Je La'an: Following the Maya Voice" has established a Development Hub in Jose Maria Morelos, Mexico.

ICDO team has worked tirelessly with the local partners in Quintana Roo, Mexico and:

• sourcing cooperation with universities and companies internationaly to offer online and live courses and workshops;
• working to identify the courses that will foster women empowerment and financial independence;
• educating Maya women on importance of biodiversity and its protection;
• involving local Maya women in other ICDO projects in the area that tackle climate change;
• we are continuing with other activities and initiatives connected to the Development Hub

ICDO is proud to be part of this important initiative and grateful for all the support that will make this possible.

In addition, we would appreciate if you can share the project further so that we can ensure the sustainability of the project and boost opportunities for even more Maya girls and women.
