As we transitioned the last group of 4 women, we gifted them with a journal for mental health. This is meant to help the women when they are out their in their journey to continue with their self healing and discovery through putting their thoughts and emotions down on a paper. Our staff has continued to keep in touch and follow up on their progress in school and also at their personal level. They have been using it for goal setting and daily and weekly reflections as they live beyond the shelter life. They were also taught on how to use the journal for gratitude journaling.
We continue to support them on matters wellbeing.
